Leh Ladakh, Nubra and Zanskar Tour Overview

Leh Ladakh, Nubra and Zanskar Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Experience a wonderful flight over the Himalayas. After reaching Leh airport, you will be received by our representatives who will escort you to a pre-booked hotel in Leh. Complete your check into the hotel and retire for the day, amidst the comforts of your room.it's important to spend this day resting and allowing your body to acclimate to the altitude to avoid AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). In the evening, you can take a short walk around Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa if you feel up to it. Later return back to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2
Wake up early in the morning followed by a healthy breakfast! On the second day, get ready to drive on the Leh – Srinagar Highway. Today you’ll be visiting the Hall of Fame. This is a museum maintained by the Indian Army showcasing their strength during the different wars fought, Kali Mata Temple & Gurudwara Patthar Sahib supposed to be built to mark the visit of Guru Nanak Dev to this area. Proceed further and experience the effects of Magnetic Hill which is set to defy the law of gravity and admire the confluence (Sangam) of holy Indus & Zanskar. As day comes to end you’ll be transferred back to Leh for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay
Day 3
Begin your penultimate morning with a healthy breakfast, and proceed for your transfer to Nubra valley. Via Khardungla Pass which, at 18360 ft, is the world's highest motor able pass. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Ladakh. The unique landscape has given it the name of ‘desert in the sky’. A notable attraction of Nubra Valley is camel safari on the Hunder sand dunes. The double-humped camel takes you to explore the surrounding scenery. Visit the Diskit Monastery, one of the oldest and the largest monastery of Nubra also known as Future Buddha. Ride back to your hotel/camp for dinner and overnight Stay in Nubra.
Day 4
Today after having breakfast we’ll start our journey to Pangong Lake via Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste. The Shyok Valley is the valley of the Shyok River situated in Ladakh. The valley is close to the Nubra Valley. Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. The lake is in the process of being identified under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. The eastern part of the lake is fresh, with the content of total dissolved solids while the western part of the lake is saline with a spectacular basin area around. Explore Pangonng Lake and afterwards return to the hotel/camp at Pangong and enjoy your dinner.
Day 5
Savor a delectable breakfast and check out from the hotel, get ready to drive towards Leh via Changla Pass. The Chang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh at an elevation of 5,391 mtr. in the Ladakh Ranges between Leh and the Shyok River valley. It is one of the highest motor-able roads in the world. The name literally means "Northern Pass". Recollect some memories from the movie Three Idiots by visiting their school (Three Idiot School). Relax your mind by visiting Shay, Thiksay and Hemis Monastery. Showcase your photography skills at beautiful Sindhu Ghat frequently visited by spiritual seekers. And head back to Hotel In Leh For dinner and a comfortable overnight stay .
Day 6
Begin your penultimate morning with a healthy breakfast, and proceed your journey back to home. Depending upon your departure timings our representative will drop you to the Leh Airport.
